Global Climate Change
The Biodiversity and Climate Change Integration Working Group formed in collaboration with the Global Climate Change Office and includes technical staff from pillar and regional bureaus. The group is working to explore and support the integration and co-programming of Biodiversity and Global Climate Change activities and funds within USAID.

The working group is focusing on several key topics, including:
- The role of biodiversity and ecosystems in adaptation strategies
- The role of forests and other landscapes in mitigation strategies
- The impact of climate change on biodiversity and protected areas
The group delivers coordinated technical assistance to missions (e.g., joint TDYs), develops case studies, best practices and evidence documents on integrated programming, and develops training and outreach materials on best practices and integration evidence.
