The CFA is a collaborative effort to promote sufficient and sustainable funding for biodiversity conservation worldwide. The Conservation Finance Alliance (CFA) was created to catalyze increased and sustainable public and private financing for biodiversity conservation to support the effective implementation of global commitments to conservation. They publish a newsletter called "Focus on Conservation Finance." A newsletter dedicated to the delivery of conservation finance solutions through collaboration The CFA was established in February 2002 in order to encourage and enhance collaboration among institutions and organizations involved in the sustainable financing of biodiversity conservation.

The Iwokrama International Centre for Rain Forest Conservation and Development is an autonomous non-profit institution established by Guyana and the Commonwealth. The Centre manages the nearly one million acre (371,000 hectares) Iwokrama Forest in central Guyana to show how tropical forests can be conserved and sustainably used to provide ecological, social and economic benefits to local, national and international communities. They publish an e-newsletter.

IIED is an international policy research institute and non governmental body working for more sustainable and equitable global development. IIED acts as a catalyst, broker and facilitator and helps vulnerable groups find their voice and ensure their interests are heard in decision-making. Environmental sustainability is a core concern but not at the expense of people’s livelihoods. It publishes a news bulletin called IIED News Bulletin. It is a bi-monthly e-bulletin with updates on IIED research, events, and publications.

Forest Trends is a public/private, non-profit coalition. It emphasizes promoting incentives and “accelerating the evolution of economic systems” that will result in the maintenance and restoration of forest ecosystems. It also identifies three goals: new commerce for ecosystem services, market recognition for sustainable management, and equitable distribution of benefits from commerce returned to local communities. Forest Trends publishes a e-newsletter called Trendlines and is distributed via email to subscribers. It has information on their work, conferences and workshops.
