This position is located in the Division of International Conservation. You will serve as an International Affairs Specialist (Program Officer) responsible for providing technical support, consultation and leadership in the Central Africa region. You will serve as a primary liaison with national and international governments, agencies, organizations and individuals concerned with environmental programs for the conservation of wildlife of international importance, their habitats and ecosystems. The Branch of Near East, S. Asia and Africa is responsible for managing grants for multinational Species Conservation Acts (Rhino/Tiger, African Elephant, Asian Elephant, Great Ape and Marine Turtles.

Bridgeborn Inc. is seeking a full-time Mid-level Research Analyst (Environmental & Natural Resources) for a long-term position working on site at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, DC. In order to be considered, candidates for the role of Mid-level Research Analyst must have a master's in International Relations or in a related field, with emphasis on natural resource management, agriculture or environmental issues, as well as some experience in international development. The Mid-level Research Analyst will be part of a dynamic, multi-unit team of information professionals. Must be a United States Citizen in order to be considered.

Call for Proposal for Hosting the Africa Section's 3rd Regional Meeting in 2014

The SCB Africa Section now has the pleasure to invite institutions on the African continent and their partners to submit proposals for hosting the 3rd regional meeting of the Section. The meeting is planned to take place in 2014, preferably between the months of August and December.
