Chief of Party - Combatting Wildlife Crime in Southern Africa 

Location: Windhoek, Namibia
World Wildlife Fund, the world's leading conservation organization, seeks a Chief of Party candidate for the USAID - funded Combatting Wildlife Crime Project (CWCP) in KAZA and Namibia, a part of USAID's regional Combatting Wildlife Crime in Southern Africa Program. The CWCP seeks to counter growing threats from transnational wildlife crime to globally important populations of black rhino and elephant in northwest Namibia and the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA), respectively.

Digital Content Officer 

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is seeking a qualified candidate to support its brand awareness efforts and further AWF's position as Africa's conservation leader. The position will play a key role in digital marketing efforts focusing on creating, editing and optimizing compelling content to ensure the breadth of our work is communicated across AWF's websites, blogs and marketing campaigns.

Business and Biodiversity Technical Advisor, Africa

Location: London

The Business and Biodiversity Technical Advisor will be responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of the Programme's contribution to in-country Africa conservation projects and grants.  In particular, this includes deliverables for landscape projects in Cameroon, with a focus on oil palm, rubber, timber, and mining. The Technical Advisor provides technical support on private sector engagement, industry best practice, particularly environmental best practice for production, and represents Zoological Society of London in its relationship with relevant industry groups and companies.

The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for all commercial activities and for providing logistics and human capital support throughout the organisation. Senior Programme Officer, IUCN Uganda Country Office

Location: Kampala, Uganda

To support the delivery of its programmes in West and Central Africa and Eastern and Southern Africa Regions, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is launching a new project entitled "Stabilizing Land Use: PA categories V and VI as landscape mechanisms for enhancing biodiversity in agricultural land, ecological connectivity and REDD+ implementation". To enable successful delivery of the project in each of the target countries, IUCN is seeking talented, motivated, experienced and visionary persons to fill the position of Senior Programme Officers who will serve as the National Coordinators.

Regional Senior Expert Climate Change

Location: Kampala, Uganda
The Regional Senior Expert will have dual reporting lines, to the Deputy Head of Mission/Head of Cooperation at the Netherlands Embassy in Kampala and to the Head of the Climate Team in The Hague. The senior expert will provide advice to the staff of the Netherlands embassies in partner countries on the integration of climate change into development programs and will work closely with the Climate Team (IGG/KL) at Headquarters on climate-related policy and climate finance policies, including issues such as natural resource management and environmental safeguards when relevant to the climate focus.

Knowledge Management/ Events Coordinator

The World Bank is looking for a consultant to support event planning activities under the Global Widlife Program. The main task of the consultant is to support the Knowledge Exchange Events and other administrative and operational tasks required under the Global Wildlife program.
