The Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) is pleased to announce its first Request for Applications (RFA) for new Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer programs! We are looking for new faces and new approaches to the Farmer-to-Farmer program, and we need your help. 

VEGA is an alliance of non government organizations that lead volunteer based technical assistance programs all over the world. We manage the US Agency for International Development's (USAID) Farmer-to-Farmer Special Program Support Project, which is designed to bring new implementers into the Farmer-to-Farmer program.

We are requesting applications for one year, $100,000 projects to implement the Farmer-to-Farmer program in new and innovative ways.

The Request for Applications will be available on December 9, 2013 at The applications process will have two parts: a concept paper phase and a full proposal phase. Concept papers will be due on December 23, 2013. Concept papers will be evaluated by an independent committee, and some of them will be selected to move in to the full proposal phase.
